The postmortem report of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, found dead in a septic tank in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, has revealed gruesome details about his brutal murder. The report confirms that Mukesh was tortured before his death. His body showed severe signs of violence, including a split liver, five broken ribs, a broken neck bone, and an arm bone fractured in two pieces. His heart had ruptured, and there were 15 severe head injuries.

The postmortem doctor, with over 12 years of experience, stated that this was the most extreme case of brutality he had ever encountered in his career. Mukesh was killed by contractor Suresh Chandrakar, who is now in police custody.

Mukesh Chandrakar, aged 33, was reported missing on January 1. His body was discovered on January 3 in the septic tank of Suresh Chandrakar’s property in Chakanpara township. The police investigation has revealed that Suresh Chandrakar, the main accused in the murder, had been absconding since the incident. However, he was apprehended by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Hyderabad on the night of January 4 and is being brought to Bijapur for further legal proceedings.

In addition to Suresh, three others—Ritesh Chandrakar, Dinesh Chandrakar, and Mahendra Ramteke—have already been arrested and sent to jail for their involvement in the murder. Police have also seized Suresh Chandrakar’s bank accounts, continuing their investigation into the case.
