A day after India’s Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces have said they’ve targeted and neutralized an Air Defence system in Lahore.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the Indian Armed Forces carried out a precision strike on Air Defence radars and systems at multiple locations across Pakistan early Thursday morning. A key strike was reported on Lahore, where an Air Defence system was successfully neutralized. “Indian response has been in the same domain with the same intensity as Pakistan,” the Indian Ministry of Defence stated. Pakistan’s HQ-9 air defence missile launchers have reportedly suffered significant damage, according to sources in Islamabad.
As tensions continue to rise following Operation Sindoor, Pakistan’s military has claimed that 24 impacts were reported in six localities during the strikes. There are also unverified reports that the Pakistan Army downed Indian drones.
