Family Alleges Dispute Over Marriage
According to police, Samreen checked into the hotel with Jaiswal at around 11:46 am on Monday. The hotel’s security in-charge alerted the police at approximately 6:34 pm after she fell from the building.
Samreen’s family has alleged that Jaiswal pushed her from the balcony following an argument over their relationship and marriage. Her sister reportedly said the dispute concerned Samreen’s marriage to Jaiswal.
The family also alleged that Jaiswal had mentally harassed Samreen. According to reports, she had married six years ago and a divorce case was pending.
These allegations have not yet been established, and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
Accused Allegedly Left on Motorcycle
Police said Jaiswal took a lift to the ground floor after the incident, went to the basement and left the premises on a motorcycle.
A forensic team examined the scene, documented the location through photographs and videos, and collected evidence. Samreen’s body was sent for a post-mortem examination.
Investigators are examining CCTV footage from the hotel to reconstruct the events leading up to her death, including the movements of Samreen and Jaiswal.
Following a complaint filed by Samreen’s sister, police registered a murder case against Jaiswal and formed two teams to trace him.
