The video footage dating back to October 10th has come to light, showing Ayaan being detained and allegedly subjected to police abuse. The video also captures police using derogatory language directed towards women.

The video, which has since gone viral on social media, depicted a scene in which police officers can be seen physically restraining and beating Ayaan while he protested his innocence.

During the altercation, Ayaan is heard pleading with the officers, claiming he is a student and that he was being subjected to unwarranted violence.
