Rajasthan: Muslim Man Beaten, Forced to Chant ‘Jai Shree Ram’ in Viral Live-Streamed Attack

A Muslim man named Sameer Qureshi was brutally assaulted by Hindutva extremists in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The attackers, led by a man identified as Jeetu Bhati, forced Sameer to chant ‘Jai Shree Ram’ and live-streamed the hour-long assault on Instagram.

In the video that went viral on social media, Sameer appears to be severely injured begging the extremists to stop.

The victim is hospitalized and is said to be in critical condition.

Jeetu Bhati is heard calling Sameer a ‘Pakistani Muslim’ and abuses him verbally while being live, recording the entire incident.

One of his accomplices is seen kicking Sameer and punching him in the face repeatedly.

Surrounded by many men, when Qureshi is asked to chant ‘Jai Shree Ram’, in a petrified state, he repeats it. But this doesn’t stop the attacks.

The young man, Qureshi sits bleeding as Jeetu phones many other men. The goons also accuse him of being a ‘racist’ and ask him to say “ All Hindus are my brothers.”

At least four men are seen in the live video, with some masking their faces. No arrests have been made so far.
