RSS-affiliated ABVP Launches Kashmir Membership Drive, Aims for 10,000 New Recruits

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), a right-wing student organization affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has launched its membership campaign for Kashmir division with the goal of enrolling 10,000 new members this year. The inauguration ceremony took place in Srinagar and was attended by special invitee Professor Parmendra Singh, ABVP state organizing secretary Tilak Thakur, and state joint secretary Akeel Ahmed Tantray.

During the program, ABVP members and officials pledged to achieve the target of enrolling 10,000 new members by engaging with students across various educational institutions in the valley.

Akeel Ahmed Tantray said ABVP is committed to student welfare and highlighted the organization’s goal to create a platform for students to express concerns, engage in discussions on educational reforms, and contribute to a vibrant academic environment in Kashmir.
