Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has issued a strong warning to the United States, stating that any military action against Iran would result in “irreparable damages” for Washington. He reaffirmed that the Iranian nation will never surrender to threats or coercion.
In a televised address on Wednesday, Ayatollah Khamenei condemned what he called a “stupid and evil” act of aggression by the Zionist regime, while praising the Iranian people for their “decent, courageous and timely” response.
“This reaction reflects the spiritual and rational maturity of the nation,” he said, emphasizing that Iran would resist both an “imposed war” and an “imposed peace.”
Rejecting recent threats made by the US president, Khamenei said, “Those familiar with Iranian history and the character of our people know that using the language of threats is futile. The Iranian nation will not submit to imposition from anyone.”
He stressed that Iran’s resistance was rooted in dignity and principle, and warned US leaders that “any military engagement against Iran will undoubtedly inflict irreparable damages on them.”
The comments come amid heightened regional tensions, particularly following recent confrontations involving Israel and growing international concern over Iran’s nuclear and defense posture.
