A Muslim family was allegedly attacked in Sirnapally village of Indalvai Mandal, Nizamabad district, Telangana, leaving five members injured. The victims — Ahmed Ullah Khan (father), Rizwana Begum (mother), and their sons Mohammed Khan and Aman Khan — were assaulted by a mob of around 60 to 70 individuals allegedly armed with swords, knives, and other weapons.

The attack took place when the two sons, who had been living in Kamareddy for the past two years after being allegedly framed in a false case, returned to their ancestral home to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with their parents. According to reports, the local Village Development Committee (VDC) had previously passed a resolution barring the two brothers from staying in the village, which some believe may have contributed to the hostility.

As the mob descended on their home, the family sustained serious injuries. Despite the severity of the incident, there have been no arrests made so far. Locals and activists have accused the police of inaction and failing to protect the victims.

Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) spokesperson Amjed Ullah Khan, who is currently in Chicago, USA, condemned the attack and expressed deep concern over the silence of law enforcement. Upon learning of the incident, he directed MBT Nizamabad President Mir Basharath Ali and party workers to visit the injured at the Government Hospital in Nizamabad.

Amjed Ullah Khan demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible and strict action against the attackers. He said that such targeted violence against Muslim families cannot be tolerated and called upon the Telangana government to intervene.
