A migrant worker from Nepal was caught by villagers in Chhaygaon, Assam, allegedly sexually assaulting a cow inside a cattle shed on Tuesday. The accused, identified as Rameshwar Yadav, worked as a loader at a local cement factory.
According to local sources, Yadav entered the shed, tied the animal, and began the assault before being discovered by residents. He was immediately restrained and handed over to police. When questioned about his actions, Yadav simply stated, “Galat ho gaya” (I made a mistake).
Police have registered a case under relevant sections prohibiting bestiality (sexual acts with animals). The cow received veterinary attention and is reportedly stable.
