‘Nida Khan at Home, No Police Visit’: Family Alleges Foul Play in Nashik TCS Case, Moves for Anticipatory Bail

Nida Khan plans bail plea citing pregnancy as family rejects allegations in TCS Nashik harassment case.

The controversy surrounding the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) case in Nashik continues to deepen, with accused Nida Khan now preparing to move court for anticipatory bail, citing her pregnancy as a key ground.

Reports indicate that Nida Khan, who is among the main accused in the case involving allegations of sexual harassment and religious coercion, is in the process of filing an anticipatory bail application. Her plea is expected to highlight her pregnancy as a major reason for seeking relief from arrest.

Khan, in her mid-20s, had reportedly moved to Mumbai after her marriage last year and is currently believed to be there. Authorities are likely to verify her medical condition through official channels as part of the ongoing investigation.

Prosecution Likely to Oppose Bail

While the bail plea is yet to be formally filed, investigators are expected to strongly oppose it. Officials reportedly view Khan as a key figure in the case and have described her as playing an active role in influencing and allegedly coercing victims.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is probing the matter, has been trying to trace Khan, who remains on the run while other accused have already been arrested.

Multiple FIRs, Serious Allegations

The case stems from multiple complaints filed by women employees at a TCS-linked BPO unit in Nashik. Police have registered nine FIRs so far, involving allegations ranging from sexual harassment and intimidation to claims of forced religious practices.

The accused have been booked under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including provisions related to sexual harassment and acts hurting religious sentiments.

According to police, the case first came to light after a 23-year-old employee alleged that a colleague established a relationship with her on the false promise of marriage. She also claimed that she was pressured regarding religious beliefs.

Eight Arrested, One Still Missing

So far, several employees linked to the case have been arrested, while Khan remains the only accused yet to be taken into custody. Investigators believe more details could emerge once she is questioned.

The allegations have sparked nationwide attention, with claims that a group of employees targeted women colleagues over a period of time.

Company and Authorities Respond

The company has stated that it follows a strict zero-tolerance policy toward harassment and is cooperating fully with authorities. Senior leadership has earlier described the allegations as serious and assured a thorough internal probe.

Meanwhile, police continue to investigate all angles of the case, including claims related to workplace misconduct and religious coercion.
