In Telangana’sNalgonda district, tensions flared as Sheik Anwar, a 25-year-old contract-sourcing employee in the Nalgonda Municipality, faced accusations from Councilor Ashwini Bhaskar Goud of the 16th ward of being appointed through fraudulent means.
The dispute escalated when Anwar’s mother, Naseema, filed a complaint against Bhaskar Goud and Pabbu Sandeep, the councillors of the 16th and 42nd wards, respectively, for assaulting her son without any proper investigation.
Anwar’s job came under scrutiny after Goud and Sandeep accused him of securing the position unlawfully, leading to a fight. During the fight, Anwar’s mother was allegedly beaten.
Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, a Member of Parliament, came forward to support Anwar, demanding fair treatment for the Muslim family.
Bhaskar Goud, the councillor who accused Anwar, now faces legal repercussions for his alleged involvement in the physical assault on Anwar and his mother.
