No power on the earth can restore Article 370: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his strong endorsement of the nullification of Article 370, saying that its revoked provisions were now relegated to history and could not be reinstated by any force on earth.

“Article 370 is history. It will never return. No power on the earth can restore Article 370 now. People should forget it now and get busy in their routine work,” Prime Minister Modi said, commenting on the Supreme Court’s judgment on the revocation of Article 370.

“Post-370, J&K and Ladakh are transformed places, thronged by tourists instead of terrorists. Movies are being shot and screened, while stone-pelting has ceased. Kashmiri families have welcomed the change,” he stated.

Addressing those who might be ‘causing confusion’ for political motives, the Prime Minister said, “As for those who are spreading confusion because of their political motives, I want to make it clear: no power in this universe can bring back Article 370.”
