Delhi: Shia Ulema Extend Support to Palestine in Special Meeting

In a meeting of religious leaders, the Shia Ulema Assembly met in Delhi on October 10, 2023. People from different parts of India, like Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttar Pradesh, gathered for this event.

The meeting started with a reading from the Holy Quran by Maulana Syed Namdar Abbas Sahib. Then, they talked about several “important things.’

They picked representatives from important cities in India to spread the word about the Shia Ulema Assembly and its goals.During the meeting, they showed strong support for the Palestinian people who have been suffering for a long time.

They praised the “brave actions” of the group called Hamas, who are standing up against the government of Israel.

In a video shown to everyone at the meeting, they expressed their disapproval of what Israel is doing and prayed for the success of the Palestinian people.

This meeting was a way for the Shia Ulema Assembly to say they don’t support Israel’s actions over the past 75 years.
